E-COMMERCE MANAGER

Responsibilities

 

Daily duties and responsibilities

Ensuring a seamless and relevant customer journey for both new and returning visitors, across both the website and mobile app.

● Managing the Product Data Feed for all Marketing Channels, including, but not limited to Google, Meta, Affiliate Feed etc

● Collaborating with Buying & Merchandising teams to optimise product visibility, availability, and distribution on the website.

● Coordinating with the Brand & Campaigns team to align site creative with brand guidelines, while ensuring an optimal customer experience.

● Planning and executing A/B tests and conversion rate optimisation strategies to enhance website performance.

● Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to ecommerce, including data privacy and consumer protection laws.

● Assisting the Head of Marketing in devising and executing trade campaigns and product initiatives to drive commercial success.

● Demonstrating market insight and tailoring trading strategies to maximise sales across diverse customer segments.

● Personalising the customer journey to deliver tailored experiences.

● Taking ownership of key ecommerce performance indicators, such as Conversion Rates, Bounce Rates, Visit Duration, Pages per Session, and Cart Abandonment Rate.

● Deploying promotional banners and content across digital platforms with meticulous attention to detail.

● Collaborating closely with the Marketing team to amplify channel activities.

● Providing support to the Web Development team to optimise digital device functionality.

● Engaging with stakeholders across the organisation to identify content opportunities.

● Monitoring web analytics, generating performance reports, and offering actionable insights for improvement.

● Conducting ad-hoc research on competitors and market conditions across different regions.

More About You

● Previous experience in a similar ecommerce role is essential and customer journey.

Previous experience managing a headless website.

● Demonstrated management experience.

● Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, HTML, and JSON.

● Understanding of personalization tools.

● Passionate ambassador for the brand.

● Effective communicator and leader, with a team-player attitude.

● Always striving for self-improvement and departmental operation enhancement.

● Dynamic, adaptable, and computer-literate with troubleshooting abilities.
